Horse of a Different Color

Hello! Today, I chose to dig one of my favorite dresses out from the recesses of my closet. It is one of my favorite dresses because of the whimsical, horse print. I am a complete sucker for any kind of animal pattern. The color also draws me time and time again to this dress. My fondness for shades of maroon and burgundy has run rampant this season. I own maroon dresses, blouses, sweaters, bags and tights; even my car is maroon! Yesterday, I also got my nails painted a wonderful shade of burgundy.

But enough about my obsession with burgundy and maroon! To keep me warm, I styled the dress with a faux fur jacket and white tights. White tights are often hard to pull off (at least in my opinion) however, I love wearing them because they add the perfect, finishing vintage vibe to any look. I accessorized with an armful of bracelets and a watch and a DIY sweater clip. Simple black oxfords kept my feet cozy.

Horse print dress: Marshall's
Faux fur jacket: Forever 21
White tights: unknown
Watch: inherited from my grandfather
Bracelets: assorted Forever 21 & vintage
Black oxfords: Vintage
Sweater clips: DIY
Sunglasses: c/o Giant Vintage Sunglasses
