DIY: Dreamcatcher Necklace
Hi! Today, I am going to teach you how to make one of the trendiest accessories at the moment- a dream catcher necklace. I've been seeing these all over tumblr, chictopia and etsy. These necklaces are so chic and effortlessly boho; I love them!
Level of difficulty: medium difficulty
Cost: less than $10
Supplies: hot glue gun, thread, needle, suede cord or another type of string, 3-5
boho beads, wire and a feather.
How to: First gather all of your supplies. Next cut your wire and bend it so that it is shaped like a circle. After that, plug your hot glue gun in. When the glue is hot, wrap the suede cord around the wire and occasionally glue parts of the cord down. Once you have finished wrapping the cord around the circle-shaped wire, thread your needle. Then sew your dream catcher design on. Need inspiration? Check out this dream catcher. Once you have sewn your design on, cut out a long piece of cord and tie it to the dream catcher. This will be your necklace. After that, sew your feather to the bottom of the dream catcher and add a string of beads. Voila! Instant boho luxe.

Festive Attire
And the festivities begin! Thanksgiving marked the beginning of the holiday season bringing lots of joy to winter. Shopping, cold weather, crisp air, presents, Christmas cookies, winter break, Christmas trees, candy canes, hot cocoa, knit scarves, warm winter coats, pretty sweaters. Is anyone else excited that the holiday season is now in full kick?

Sheer Love
Hi! Today marks the beginning of my Thanksgiving break; I am so glad to finally have a break! I chose to wear a sheer green maxi skirt that I sewed this weekend, a basic black top, black boots, and my lovely stone necklace from Leney's etsy shop. Seriously, if you haven't checked out her shop you are missing out! Leney is one of my fellow RVA fashion bloggers and a great person. I won this unique necklace in a giveaway and it is now one of my favorite necklaces! I thought that it would be difficult to style but the necklace is surprisingly versatile.

P.S. Are you going Black Friday shopping? I'm debating about going to the sales but I will definitely have a coupon for my etsy shop!

A Raisin in The Sun
Hi! Today, the juniors at my school had a chance to go on a field trip to see A Raisin in the Sun and I chose to go. The play was performed at the University of Richmond. A Raisin in the Sun was actually a pretty good play. The University of Richmond actors did a great job portraying the characters and the plot was relatively intriguing. It is about a poor black family in the late 1950's. They receive $10,000 because one of the family members dies. After they receive the money, the family tries to decide what to do with it. Will it be used to put Benny through medical school, to buy a house or into one of Walter's crazy money making schemes? By the end of this play, they have overcome many obstacles and grown closer as a family. Although the seating wasn't ideal and the play was very long (just about 3 hours!), I enjoyed A Raisin in the Sun.

Rainy Days
Hi! To brighten up this dreary day (it's rainy and wet here), I wore a bright red pencil skirt. I paired the skirt with a white, thrifted sweater, textured tights and brown combat boots. Luckily, it stopped raining in the afternoon and I was able to go outside to take photos. I am hoping that tomorrow is going to be nicer despite the forecast for more rain all day. Fall is lovely but I hate it when it rains. All the wet leaves, gray sky and dismal puddles tire me out.
Attention etsy shop owners and small business owners! I am taking sponsors for the months of November and December. You can host a giveaway on my blog and/ or have me do a product review and you will get free ad space. If you are interested, please email me at tori@fashiontrendsmore.com I love receiving blog- related emails!

Studded
Hi! I managed to take pictures today even though it was cold and rainy outside. It seems like every time that I straighten my hair, it rains! Anyways, today I wore a DIY studded denim vest.
DIY
Supplies- Denim vest and about 100 studs (I purchased mine from Forest Era on etsy, their studs are good quality and reasonably priced.)
Cost- Mine cost me about $10-$15. Thrifting a vest will help to keep the cost of this DIY low.
Time- About an hour
How to- Gather your materials and set up your work space. Lay your denim vest (or any kind of clothing) down flat. Next mark on the denim vest where you want to place your studs and decide on what pattern you will use. Are you going to use all pyrmaid studs? All circular studs? A mix of different studs? Then add the studs to the vest or item of clothing. It's hard for me to explain how to add studs but it is actually a very easy process. You will most likely be able to know how to apply the studs just by looking at them. If you don't understand how to apply the studs, this is a great tutorial. Once that is done, you will have your finished product. Voila! A new, trendy piece for a fraction of the designer price.
