Hello! Today, I have an online shop to introduce to you guys- Urban Lace. Urban Lace sells necklaces, bracelets, earrings and masks. However, Urban Lace is not your average jewelry retailer. Urban Lace has taken their jewelry to the next level. All of Urban Lace's pieces are created from recycled inner tubes. How innovative and sustainable! And how could you turn down innovation and sustainability? Urban Lace's goal is "to make high quality, high fashion, environmentally friendly products that people love to wear." And I definitely think that they achieved that goal! Below is a list of my favorite Urban Lace pieces.
1. "Raindrop" earrings. $24.99. Urban Lace actually sent me these earrings and I have worn them before in a post (here) but you can hardly see them in the photos. I am very glad that I selected to receive these earrings. They are very versatile and stylish.
2. "Polaris" earrings. $24.99. These sweet dainty earrings would go well with an infinite number of looks.
3. "Dusk" mask. $29.99. This would be the perfect mask for a masquerade or costume party.
***Urban Lace sent me a complimentary sample for a potential feature on my blog. I did try to blog wearing the earrings but they were not easily visible in the post. However, I still want to get the word out about Urban Lace because I really support Urban Lace's sustainability and chic, innovative jewelry.

Brag Vintage
Hello! Brag Vintage recently sent me these high-rise green shorts. They are extremely stylish and I fell in love with them as soon as I opened the box and saw them. I love the high-rise fit and flattering, unique green color. And the way the pockets peek out from under the shorts is simply adorable. If you are looking to add vintage pieces or especially vintage high-rise shorts to your wardrobe, I would definitely recommend checking out Brag Vintage! Unfortunately, they were a bit too small on me so I gave them to my roommate, Taisha. You can follow Taisha on instagram HERE or follow her on tumblr HERE.
Taisha styled the shorts with a low-cut black bodysuit and floral combat boots. She accessorized with a bold necklace and earrings.

Wissahickon Trail
Hello! The weather was absolutely beautiful again today so my roommate, Taisha, and I took a hike down to the Wissahickon Trail and explored. We found a lovely little area by a creek and took a few photos there. For my look, I just threw on an easy boho dress and round sunglasses. This dress is the latest addition to my wardrobe and I am already in love with it. The cute sunflower print, tiered loose shape and open back are my favorite features of the dress.

Amanda Remillard Images
Hello! These photos are from my recent shoot with Amanda Remillard Images. When my friend, Amanda, offered to take photos for my blog, I jumped at the opportunity! And I am certainly glad that I did; it was so much fun taking the photos with her and I love the results.
It was a beautiful day out so I chose to break out my asymmetrical black dress. The shape and flow of this dress draw me back to this dress time and time again. I styled it with a stylish pair of white sunglasses, a bold pop of red lipsticks and cute printed wedges. These wedges are sold by ILoveSexy.com and are the "Strawberry Polka Dot Fabric and Tie Wedges."

Olive-Colored Romper
Hello! Today, I broke out my olive-colored romper. The eyelet texture and stylish color draw me to wear this romper again and again. My look wouldn't be complete without a print so I styled a floral print dress (worn unbuttoned) over top of the romper. I like the kimono-style look that was created by wearing this dress unbuttoned over the romper.
Olive-colored sunglasses and navy wedges completed the look. These navy wedges are one of my latest acquisitions to my wardrobe. I purchased them over spring break for a little less than $10 at a thrift shop in Carytown. I'm definitely pleased with this purchase! They showed barely any wear when I purchased them and they are immensely comfortable not to mention extremely easy to style.

Spring/Summer 2014 Trend Report: Free Spirit
Hello! This spring/summer, free-spirited/boho looks are popping up everywhere you turn. This trend can be found in most retail stores but Free People and Urban Outfitters really hit the mark with their hippie-chic collections this season. Walking into Free People and Urban Outfitters this season is similar to walking into a bohemian wonderland that will cause you to dream of indie music festivals and imagine what living in the seventies would be like. This trend is such an easy-going trend which makes it impossible for me to resist.
Peasant, tie-dye, loose-fitting and babydoll tops all evoke a boho-chic vibe. Extra points for tops in soft colors such as pale pink and lavender.
Neutral colored shoes- flatforms and woven sandals in particular- emit a bohemian vibe.
Peasant style dresses, loose-fitting dresses, tiered dresses and dresses with quirky prints all evoke the trend. Style them with neutral colored sandals and a boho headpiece and you're good to go.
As for jackets or vests, fringe vests and jackets are the way to go. Pay close attention to texture as crochet, suede and macrame pieces dominate. Wear these over a printed dress with easygoing sandals and stone rings for a chic, free-spirited look.
Of course, accessories also play a large role in the free spirit trend. Flower crowns, golden headpieces and floppy hats are all trending headpieces at the moment. To capture the hippie trend with jewelry, go for stone rings (especially turquoise stone rings) or layered golden necklaces. Round sunglasses and fringe bags also celebrate the bohemian trend.

Fresh as a Daisy
I styled my look around my new white circle skirt that I recently recieved compliments of ShopLately. This skirt is no longer available but you can check out similar products from Know Style. You guys know that I can't resist circle skirts and this one is no exception. The playful cut and fresh color are irresistible.
I chose to style it with one of my latest thrifts- an oversized daisy print top worn kimono-style. The oversize fit and cutesy daisy print make me believe that this will be worn quite frequently in my wardrobe this season. To let the daisy print top and white circle skirt shine, I donned a simple black tank top.
White sunglasses and black studded sandals completed the look. These sandals are easily one of the best purchases that I have made this spring. The color allows me to wear them with essentially everything while the studs give them a unique twist. And how could I resist the little boost off with ground with the inch and a half heel? I thrifted them from Buffalo Exchange for a mere $17 and they showed hardly any wear. What's even better is the fact that they are made by Jeffrey Campbell and would originally retail for more than $100. Talk about a good deal!

Daisy Days
Hello! I am absolutely loving this gorgeous spring weather that we've been having in Philadelphia the past week or so.
To celebrate the gorgeous weather, I slipped on my daisy print dress. This dress has been on repeat in my wardrobe for the past few weeks. I bought it about a month ago from Buffalo Exchange and am simply in love with it. The babydoll fit, cutesy daisy print and simple color combination all enchant me. And even better it only cost about $20!
I styled the dress with a black fringed kimono, black knee highs and adorable white jelly sandals. White sunglasses, red lipstick and black lace earrings completed the look.
