Royal Wedding: The Dress
As most people know, today the world celebrated the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Personally, I don't get the obsession with this wedding. Waking up at 4? Most definitely not. Looking up a picture of the wedding dress? Sure

In my opinion the Alexander McQueen dress is very beautiful, I am particularly fond of the lace. However, I think that the train is a little too long.

DIY: Glamorous Headband
Materials: Hot glue gun & glue
Wide black ribbon
Fake gems/ rhinestones
Scissors
Cost: Very little, $5 or less
Time: Very little, 30 minutes maximum (It didn't take me that long)
Method: I gained inspiration but not directions from http://psimadethis.com/post/3877832862/its-time-for-a-spring-fling-with-a-touch-of. By the way psimadethis.com is one of my favorite sites. The writer has such good, innovative ideas. You should definitely check it out! The reason I didn't follow the directions was because I'm not a huge fan of directions and the project was relatively simple. First I cut the ribbon the the length and width that I wanted it. Next I heated up the hot glue gun and glued the rhinestones onto the ribbon. Voila! Easy as pie. It will tie underneath my hair and can easily add a little glamour to a boring outfit. I love it and cannot wait to wear it!
Also, sorry for my lack of posts this week. I haven't taken many photos this week but I'm hoping to do a photo shoot this weekend. Also more DIYs are on the way. Comment below if you want more/ like DIY posts.

Beach Diary: Off to Lunch
This is what I wore to lunch with my sister yesterday at the beach. I like how this look is chic but what I also consider "classy tourist." I have a camera case like a tourist but I'm wearing mine as a purse. My camera case is also vintage not brand new. Like a tourist, I am wearing Hawaiian prints but my Hawaiian print is on a dress not on a shirt. New Shoes
New shoes! I absolutely love these shoes. I bought them last week on sale at Macy's for $41 for a contest. I've worn them twice this week and plan to wear them tomorrow too. Unlike most heels, these are really comfortable. Wearing them doesn't even feel like wearing heels. No blisters, no pain but lots of style. Not a bad deal!
*About the contest. As I mentioned in a previous post, I am a semifinalist for project style. To get to the next round I need votes from friends, family and of course my lovely followers.
