Spring Blossoms
Hello! If you combed through my wardrobe, you'd almost immediately be confused. My wardrobe consists of about 60% dresses followed by 20% shoes with tops, bottoms and jackets making up the remaining 20%. And if we're being real, shirts and bottoms probably comprise less than 10% of my wardrobe. I can count on one hand how many pairs of pants I own. I can also count on one hand how many skirts I own. And I'd guess I maybe own about six or so shirts. Which seems absolutely absurd and that's because it totally is. But it works for me. I tend to romp around in pretty little dresses and high heels about 95% of the time.
So when I do find a shirt that I love, I'm always surprised. Then I'm stumped. What in the world do I wear with it? My floral bell bottoms, my black denim, my flare jeans or my little black circle skirt? When it comes to options for bottoms, I don't have much choice. It doesn't bother me, it just means I need to get slightly more creative with my styling. I'd much rather have a wardrobe full of pretty dresses that I wear constantly with the occasional top and bottom strewn in than a wardrobe chock full of clothing including tops and bottoms that I didn't wear constantly. I don't want to own anything that I'm not tempted to wear every week. Not many tops make the cut into my heart but this pretty little black top did.
Shein recently sent me this blossom embroidered beauty to incorporate into my spring wardrobe and to say I love the top would be an understatement. I've never owned a top that I've loved more. I mean, what's not to love? I absolutely adore the sheer detailing, floral embroidery, subtle polka dot print and flirty silhouette of this top. You can add this top to your wardrobe for just $22 here.
I styled it over a leopard print skater style dress to complement the floral design and polka dot pattern of the top. I accessorized with one of my favorite ShopGlister necklaces, a vintage watch, stylish oversize sunglasses and a pretty vintage purse. I slipped on a pair of boho wedge heels and called it a look.

Magan Shively x RaddayVintage
Hello! A couple weekends ago I teamed up with VCU fashion design major Magan Shively for a little RaddayVintage spring shoot. I often cite Magan as one of Richmond's best-dressed (seriously if you don't believe me, check out her Instagram) so I wanted to do a shoot in which we could combine her fierce personal style with RaddayVintage. I packed a small suitcase of my personal RaddayVintage favorites and Magan selected her favorites from there. She decided upon a pretty gray vintage clutch, pretty white spring dress and fun vintage heels (not pictured above).
Little white dress available in RaddayVintage for $25 here.
Stylish gray clutch soon to be available in RaddayVintage for $20!

Meet My Boyfriend (and Enter to Win a JORD Watch!)
Hello! Well look who it is... my boyfriend! If you know me personally then you probably already know of my boyfriend, Taylor. I don't feature photos of him or us often on my blog or social media outlets but he's definitely a major part of my life. We've been dating for almost two years but he tends to shy away from the camera [read: he hates being in front of the camera.] I feel that I've never truly properly introduced him to you all before so when JORD, a wooden watch retailer, reached out to me regarding a men's style collaboration, I immediately hopped on board.
As Taylor and I began to peruse JORD's incredible selection of unique watches, we quickly realized that selecting one of their watches was going to be tough- there were so many great options to choose from! We wanted a watch that would reflect Taylor's masculine and rock-inspired personal style so we decided upon their Conway watch in dark sandalwood & burgundy which retails for $229 here. The rich wooden texture and dark burgundy color perfectly complement his rock-and-roll tastes. I love how the watch looks on him and am so happy that JORD sent it over. Do I receive best girlfriend award for gifting my boyfriend this stunning watch? I'd like to think so- thanks JORD!
Taylor and I share a taste for the style of the seventies so I styled our looks for this shoot around that. I styled him in one of my favorite shirts in his wardrobe- this cool blue paisley button down. I love how the psychedelic pattern of the shirt plays up the stylish details of his watch. I slipped on a blue tie dye dress myself to complement the seventies style and blue color of his button-down. I layered on the boho charm with stacks of free-spirited rings and bracelets. I also took the opportunity to strut my stuff in my new seventies disco heels. We both grabbed our favorite shades to complete our looks; I slipped on a soft pastel pink pair of oversized sunglasses while he grabbed an edgier pair of reflective aviators.
Overall, we're incredibly happy with the watch that JORD sent over and would highly recommend checking them out. They offer both men's watches and women's watches so you can either pick one up for yourself or as a gift for your sweetheart. I do have to admit- I'm sort of envious of Taylor's watch! But hey, at least my boyfriend's killin' the watch game.
Now I have a little treat for you all: a giveaway! JORD didn't just send over a watch for my boyfriend, they're also going to be sending one of their attractive Conway watches to one lucky Fashion, Trends & More reader. All you have to do is enter through their site HERE for a chance to win. So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and enter... like seriously though- I wish I could! Giveaway ends 4/30/17. Everyone who enters and doesn't win will receive a $25 consolation code. Can't wait for your own watch? Use code fashiolf5w0k for 15% off your own JORD purchase. Code expires 6/30/17.

Baby Pink Dream
Hello! I think I've just discovered my newest spring wardrobe obsession: this baby pink dress. If you had asked me how many pink dresses I owned around this time last year, I would have simply scoffed at you. If you had also asked me how many black dresses resided in my wardrobe, I also wouldn't have been able to answer because I owned too many little black dresses to count. A lot can change in a year. I've done almost a full 360 in regards to my personal style and feelings towards color. I used to scorn color and cling to black with the occasional burst of leopard print but I now find myself letting those little black dresses go one by one. And that's not to say that there's no black in my wardrobe because that's simply not true but there is less black and a LOT more color. Like the cute little pink dress that I'm wearing above.
MakeMeChic recently sent me this beauty to incorporate into my spring wardrobe. And I'm obsessed. I know I may say that a lot but this time it's for real. I've only had this dress for about a week now but have already managed to wear it (definitely) more than once. I absolutely love its dreamy baby pink color, voluptuous yet feminine sleeves and easy-to-wear design. Expect to see more of this dress this spring. A lot more.
Wanna add this dress to your own spring wardrobe? You can score this "Pink Tied V Back Ruffle Sleeve Dress" for just $17 at MakeMeChic. Yes, only $17! Check it out here.
I played off the dreamy pink color of the dress by styling it with accessories in complementary colorful hues. I wanted to keep most of the focus of the look on my dress so I kept jewelry and accessories to a minimum but I did borrow a gorgeous flamingo statement necklace from my mom's wardrobe to pair with the dress. A vintage yellow purse, pink shades, vintage watch and neutral platform heels completed the look.

Boho Beauty
Hello! When I first spotted this boho dress I immediately fell in love. I mean, hey what's not to love? Its breezy silhouette, vibrant colors and free-spirited print make it quite the boho beauty. I wanted to play up the bohemian appeal of the dress for this look so I layered on a handful of turquoise stone rings, several golden bracelets and a few boho necklaces. My yellow aviator shades added a groovy touch of seventies charm to the look.
