Kayla & I

Hello! One of the things that I love about going to a creative, design-oriented school is the abundance of well-dressed students on campus. Kayla Davies, one of my friends and a fellow fashion merchandising student, certainly fits the description of a free-spirited student with an eclectic style. Her wardrobe is rich in vintage pieces that she pairs with more hip, modern pieces. Her style has a distinct retro influence as well as being slightly boho-edgy.

We took a couple photos of our outfits together earlier last week. She styled a vintage jacket with a basic tank and pair of distressed denim shorts. I love the pumpkin-colored pop of color and bohemian hat that she incorporated into her look. 

For my look, I pulled out my favorite dress from my wardrobe: a cream-colored, lace dress with the most incredible bell sleeves. I styled it with a pair of dark-green suede wedges and statement necklace. Classic golden sunglasses completed the look.
