Hello! Recently, Uncommon Goods sent me this pair of knee-high socks (along with an adorable fox pillow which you will soon get to see) to review. Uncommon Goods is an online retailer that sells everything ranging from home & garden products to dining & entertainment products to office supplies to jewelry & accessories to gifts for men, women & children. They specialize in unique gifts and creative design

If you are looking for a place to buy a gift for a friend whether it be a birthday gift, handmade gift or inexpensive (but still nice) gift then Uncommon Goods is your store. You can find gifts for children, men & women. And the best part about their gifts- they are all very unique! They are not things that you can just pick up at any old store. Explore what birthday gifts they have to offer HERE. If you are interested in handmade gifts, those can be found HERE. And lastly, if you are seeking inexpensive gifts (under $50), check out what they sell HERE

Now, more about the socks that they sent me to review. They sent me the "Sole Sox" in black. These socks retail at $14 + shipping. I must say that I am definitely impressed by these socks. Although they are fairly inexpensive, they are very good quality- nice, thick socks. These are the type of socks that were created to last. No holes anytime soon in these bad boys!

But what I like even more than the quality of the socks is the style. These socks are illustrated with all of the bones in our feet and the accurate name of each bone. How cool is that? But really, I just love the edgy vibe of these socks. These socks add an instant dose of grunge-chic to any look.  I have a feeling that these socks will get quite a bit of wear this fall/winter.

And they look perfect with combat boots. That is precisely why today I styled them with my beat-up pair of combat boots. Although I recently recieved my genuine pair of Doc Martens in the mail, I am waiting until I arrive at Philadelphia University before I break those babies out of their box. So long story short, I am still wearing these beat-up combat boots that I purchased last fall.

To add a bit of color to this look, I donned my black & blue checked dress and pinned a handful of vintage pins to it. Red lipstick accentuated the red in several of my pins. Retro sunglasses completed this look.

Checked dress: Target via Goodwill

***I was sent these socks by Uncommon Goods (for free) to review in a blog post. If you are interested in doing a product review for UncommonGoods, check out their Blogger Review Program here: http://www.uncommongoods.com/reviews.
