Hello! Today, I got ten inches of my hair chopped off for Locks of Love. This is the second time that I have done Locks of Love and I would love to do Locks of Love as many times as possible! Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that creates wigs for children who have cancer. They use hair donated to them from people like me to make the wigs. You must donate at least 10 inches of hair in order for your hair to be used in a wig. Anyone thinking of doing Locks of Love or has anyone else done Locks of Love before?
Anyways, on to my outfit! I decided to wear my favorite pair of pants today- a pair high-rise pine green jeans from Urban Outfitters. I paired them with a new vintage hat and matching lipstick. A striped nautical Brenton top, gray oxfords, a masculine watch and a vintage bag completed the look. It was perfect for a day spent thrift shopping, going out to eat and getting my hair cut!
The first set of photos were taken in Anthill Antiques. Anthill Antiques is a great shop in Carytown that sells jewelry, vintage and more! The second set of photos were taken right outside of the salon where I got my hair cut, Irvis Salon. Because I was donating my hair, they cut my hair for free! Great deal, right?
