 Hello!

As spring quickly approaches, I find myself wanting to ditch my winter apparel entirely and jump forth into spring styles. However, the weather does not always allow that. So instead of abandoning my winter wardrobe completely, I have been mixing fall/winter styles with fresh, spring pieces.

One of those spring pieces happens to be this nautical striped top. Although, I definitely consider it a piece better suited for spring rather than winter (the navy/cream stripes and cropped fit practically scream spring), it is a great transitional piece. It is superbly easy to layer and I keep finding myself reaching for it...again and again and again. I decided to pair it with a dark-rinse denim jacket to keep warm today. Denim jackets are another one of my favorite transitional pieces. They can simply be styled a million and one ways. To read three ways to style them, check out my article HERE.

Today, I also donned this airy, cream-colored skirt to add movement to my look. Finally, I completed my look with leopard print boots and tortoise sunglasses.  I recently received these sunglasses to style on my blog from Giant Vintage Sunglasses and let me just say, I am in LOVE with them.  Why do I love them so much? They give off such a classic, effortless vibe that I find impossible to resist. In addition, most of Giant Vintage's sunglasses cost less than $30. What a steal! You can check out a similar pair of sunglasses to mine HERE.
