Hello! Today, I present another outfit from the past. These photos were taken last weekend while out and about thrift shopping. For less than $10, I purchased a Lacoste rain jacket, vintage pin and a few records. Now all I need is a record player! Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can buy an inexpensive record player?
Anyways, for this look, I threw together a few of my favorite pieces- a pair of leopard print boots, a denim button down, green jeans and faux leather jacket. Leopard print+ denim+ leather= basically my favorite style combination. On the way out the door, I grabbed this mermaid-skeleton tote bag which is absolutely perfect to bring thrift shopping. Not only does it hold my cell phone, wallet, keys, etc. but also functions like a reusable bag in which I can store my purchases in. A pair of cat-eye sunglasses and knit beret completed my look.
Denim shirt: Thrifted (similar)
Faux leather jacket: Marshall's (similar)
Green denim: BDG
Leopard print booties: Target
Tote bag: c/o Whimsy Bags
Cat eye sunglasses: c/o Giant Vintage
Knit beret: JCP
Records: Vintage
Less than $10 - thrifty at its best. Good job dear. Cool look.

Your boots are adorable!
ReplyDeleteOoh, what records did you get? I always make a point of going through all the records at our local Goodwill...sometimes there's good stuff, but sometimes (like today--though to be fair they had a couple of ok records) there's nothing. :P
I recommend eBay if you're looking for an inexpensive record player. I got my vintage one off eBay for under $20, and it works great! It did take me a really long time to find one in my budget (I didn't want to go over $30), but all the hard work really paid off. You do have to be careful, though, and make sure that it is actually in good, working condition, and that it will play records at all the right speeds.

I got my record for super cheap on amazon. It's the speakers that I have found to be a bit more pricey. Love the shoes, btw.
