Spring Blossoms
Hello! If you combed through my wardrobe, you'd almost immediately be confused. My wardrobe consists of about 60% dresses followed by 20% shoes with tops, bottoms and jackets making up the remaining 20%. And if we're being real, shirts and bottoms probably comprise less than 10% of my wardrobe. I can count on one hand how many pairs of pants I own. I can also count on one hand how many skirts I own. And I'd guess I maybe own about six or so shirts. Which seems absolutely absurd and that's because it totally is. But it works for me. I tend to romp around in pretty little dresses and high heels about 95% of the time.
So when I do find a shirt that I love, I'm always surprised. Then I'm stumped. What in the world do I wear with it? My floral bell bottoms, my black denim, my flare jeans or my little black circle skirt? When it comes to options for bottoms, I don't have much choice. It doesn't bother me, it just means I need to get slightly more creative with my styling. I'd much rather have a wardrobe full of pretty dresses that I wear constantly with the occasional top and bottom strewn in than a wardrobe chock full of clothing including tops and bottoms that I didn't wear constantly. I don't want to own anything that I'm not tempted to wear every week. Not many tops make the cut into my heart but this pretty little black top did.
Shein recently sent me this blossom embroidered beauty to incorporate into my spring wardrobe and to say I love the top would be an understatement. I've never owned a top that I've loved more. I mean, what's not to love? I absolutely adore the sheer detailing, floral embroidery, subtle polka dot print and flirty silhouette of this top. You can add this top to your wardrobe for just $22 here.
I styled it over a leopard print skater style dress to complement the floral design and polka dot pattern of the top. I accessorized with one of my favorite ShopGlister necklaces, a vintage watch, stylish oversize sunglasses and a pretty vintage purse. I slipped on a pair of boho wedge heels and called it a look.
