Hello! I think I've just discovered my newest spring wardrobe obsession: this baby pink dress. If you had asked me how many pink dresses I owned around this time last year, I would have simply scoffed at you. If you had also asked me how many black dresses resided in my wardrobe, I also wouldn't have been able to answer because I owned too many little black dresses to count. A lot can change in a year. I've done almost a full 360 in regards to my personal style and feelings towards color. I used to scorn color and cling to black with the occasional burst of leopard print but I now find myself letting those little black dresses go one by one. And that's not to say that there's no black in my wardrobe because that's simply not true but there is less black and a LOT more color. Like the cute little pink dress that I'm wearing above.

MakeMeChic recently sent me this beauty to incorporate into my spring wardrobe. And I'm obsessed. I know I may say that a lot but this time it's for real. I've only had this dress for about a week now but have already managed to wear it (definitely) more than once. I absolutely love its dreamy baby pink color, voluptuous yet feminine sleeves and easy-to-wear design. Expect to see more of this dress this spring. A lot more.

Wanna add this dress to your own spring wardrobe? You can score this "Pink Tied V Back Ruffle Sleeve Dress" for just $17 at MakeMeChic. Yes, only $17! Check it out here.

I played off the dreamy pink color of the dress by styling it with accessories in complementary colorful hues. I wanted to keep most of the focus of the look on my dress so I kept jewelry and accessories to a minimum but I did borrow a gorgeous flamingo statement necklace from my mom's wardrobe to pair with the dress. A vintage yellow purse, pink shades, vintage watch and neutral platform heels completed the look.
