December 2014: 3 Trends I'm Loving

Hello! Today, I'm going to share 3 trends this December that I can't get enough of with you guys: plaid, velvet and textured knits in neutral colors.

1. Plaid. Plaid typically shows up every fall/winter as one of the prominent patterns of the season so it's no surprise that plaid is trendy this fall/winter. However, I've found plaid prints much more intriguing this season than other recent fall/winter seasons. Although, it's a "trendy" winter print, it also has a very timeless, classic aura. I'm especially liking plaid shirtdresses and flannels right now. 

2. Velvet. Ahhh, velvet. I'm swooning over this opulent fabric this season. Velvet has the ability to glam up any look. I have several velvet pieces in my wardrobe and I can't stop wearing them. Velvet is great for everyday looks but also perfect for holiday parties this season.

3. Textured knits in neutral colors. Textured knits are my absolute favorite. They are extremely stylish not to mention cozy! I'm really liking textured knits in lighter, neutral colors this season. Textured pieces from knit sweaters to knit scarves to knit tops are all trending this December.
