The Most Killer Vintage Boots
Hello! I thrifted these gorgeous tan heeled booties a few months ago for RaddayVintage and practically cried upon realizing that they weren't my correct size. Because let's face it: they're pretty much perfect in every way, shape and form. That color? Droolworthy. That shape? Shoe goals. That ultimate vintage 'it girl' factor? Only comes around once in a blue moon. I purchased them for my shop almost instantly after spotting them but I've let them sit in my closet up until now because they're about a size and a half too small for my feet.
But fashion means pain, right? I decided to face that pain and crammed my feet into the shoes for a photoshoot with local Virginia photographer, Peyton Tuesday Olinger. And y'all I still have blisters on my feet just from wearing the shoes for only about an hour or so but those blisters were totally worth it for this look.
I really wanted to show off the rad silhouette of the boots so I paired them with a short black mini skirt. Would you believe that I've had this skirt in my wardrobe since high school? Because I can't. Throwback to this, this and this cringe-worthy outfit featuring this little black mini skirt years and years ago.
I created a sleek line by pairing a black crop top with the black skirt. The floral detailing and mesh texture of the top kept the pairing from feeling blah. I made the look feel more "me" by adding my favorite pair of aviator sunglasses and a statement green vintage purse. A simple yet chic golden watch pulled the look together.
Keep an eye on RaddayVintage in the next few weeks as I plan on listing these "it girl" boots very soon.
