Jumping for this Jumpsuit

Hello! Never in a million years would I have thought that I would be able to pull off a jumpsuit. Now, that's not to say that I don't like jumpsuits, I actually can't help but love jumpsuits. Jumpsuits have been trending the past few years and I've spotted a few that captured my heart entirely. That is they captured my heart until I tried them on. Every single jumpsuit (with the exception of the one that I'm wearing above) that I've tried on in the past few years has looked like an absolute disaster on my body. I'm relatively tall and busty and it makes fitting into a jumpsuit difficult.

I had given up on the thought of finding a jumpsuit that fit me until I spotted this watercolor blue jumpsuit at Ashby. It was a size medium from Forever 21 and I'm almost always a size large at Forever 21 so I didn't think that it would actually fit but I tried it on on a whim anyways. When I tried it on, it actually did fit and I fell in love. The watercolor print, cool blue colors and modern silhouette of this jumpsuit make it one of my favorite pieces currently in my wardrobe.

I shot these photos a couple weeks ago when it wasn't quite as cold and I was able to style a pair of vintage platform sandals with the jumpsuit and ditch any layers over the jumpsuit. I wanted to go for a sort of sea-inspired look to play up the marine colors and print of the jumpsuit so I paired it with an ocean-inspired statement necklace. To complete the look, I styled a green vintage clutch and golden sunglasses with the outfit.
