DIY: Peacock Feather Necklace

I was inspired to make a piece of feather jewelry after going shopping and seeing beautiful feather jewelry all over the place. Today, I decided I wanted to make a feather necklace, perhaps some feather earrings. Lucky for me, I had feathers left over from when I made a feather headband. I thought I would use them for that DIY but I never did. I used a peacock feather for this DIY but you can use any type of feather that catches your eye.
Making this feather necklace was relatively simple. First you should gather your materials. Materials: Feather/s, a small amount of wire, scissors, and a plain necklace chain. Next, you should wrap the wire around the tip of the feather and make a small loop hole at the top of the wire. After that all you have to do is to slip your feather "charm" onto the chain and voila! Instant feather glam!

***If you don't have an extra chain, you can gather old, broken chains and put them together to get one long chain. That's what I did for my necklace and it worked perfectly. You will need pliers if you do this though.***
