Meow!

Meow! You guys may know by now that I kind of love anything leopard print. Bags? Yes. Blouses? Yes. Pants? Yes. Coats? Yes, yes, yes and yes! So it should come as no surprise that I have been dying to wear this coat ever since I purchased it. In fact, is one of the reasons why I am excited about the temperature drop- I can finally wear it. Did I mention that it is faux fur and only cost me $20? Swoon!

On Saturday, I paired it with combat boots, a fringe bag, bad to the bone tights and a studded belt to give my look an edgy (well maybe not edgy but edgy for me) vibe. To polish off the look, I added wool shorts, my favorite vintage hat, over sized sunglasses, and a maroon/wine-colored blouse. The cool, urban look that was created was perfect for the day ahead of me. Shopping with a friend from school, grabbing a slice of pizza and a party occupied my Saturday along with watching the most recent episode of ANTM. Anyone else glad that the mean girl, Kristen, left?

Anyway, I hope that you all had a lovely weekend and a good start to your week! Don't forget that tomorrow is election day. Your vote really does count so get up and go vote for the candidate that you think would do the best job for the country! Unfortunately, I am still 17 so I can't vote in this upcoming election but you can bet that I will vote in the next presidential election in 4 years.

Links à La Mode

Hello! I am super excited today because my recent Locks of Love post was featured in IFB's Links a La Mode. Check out all the other great posts below and share the blog love:

I want to start this week’s Links à la Mode by very quickly and briefly sending out thoughts and prayers to those most severely affected by Superstorm Sandy. We had a lot of great submissions this week, many of them Halloween themed! From Beetlejuice pants to costumes a la Anna Wintour and Victoria Beckham, and appropriately dark black lace. We also had some very thoughtful, introspective posts on the self, personal style and a blogger donating her hair to locks of love.
