Hello! I recently teamed up with local Richmond photographer, Wanyeh Hill, for a studio shoot. I don't typically shoot in a studio setting but I'm really digging the photos from the shoot. We opted for a bold pink backdrop and I styled looks in coordinating pink and burgundy hues. I've been "team pink" so to speak for a while now and to my surprise, my fondness for the color still hasn't diminished.
I took style cues from the seventies when selecting both of the looks featured above. I pulled a little velvet burgundy bodysuit out of my wardrobe for the first look and styled it with a boho pair of floral bellbottoms. I accessorized with a western-inspired silver belt, silver statement earrings and hot pink shades. I amped up the retro appeal of the look with a dreamy seventies vintage shawl.
I decided upon a floral boho dress for my second look. Its boho pattern, rich maroon hue and bell sleeves all appeal to my fondness for the seventies. A hot pink pair of aviator sunglasses and a vintage paisley scarf worn around my neck added to the retro style of the look. Pink pompom earrings perfected the look.
