Celebrating 1K Posts

Hello! Today, I'm celebrating 1,000 posts on this blog- can you believe that?? I started my blog roughly five and a half years ago and blogging has become such an integral part of my life that I can't even imagine my life without my blog. When I first started my blog, I had no idea that it would grow to the point it's at today.

I launched my blog in the summer after my freshman year of high school as a way of pursuing my love for fashion. I lived in the suburbs and went to a boring, cookie cutter school; none of my friends were interested in fashion and I wanted an outlet in which I could express my thoughts on fashion and style. When I first launched my blog, blogging wasn't nearly what it is today. There were a handful of famous fashion bloggers out there like Tavi Gevinson but the blogging market wasn't completely oversaturated like it is today. Therefore, I didn't really have much direction with my blog, I didn't have much to mold it around. And in the beginning, my blog was a mess but it's grown tremendously since I first started it. 

Blogging has provided me with countless opportunities and prompted me to launch a career in fashion. I wouldn't be where I am today without my blog. I'm forever grateful for starting my blog roughly five and a half years ago. Here's to many more blog posts in the future!
