How to Style a Floral Dress in February

Hello! I would say that almost half of my wardrobe consists of pretty printed dresses which means that I really have no choice other than to make floral dresses like this one work for all types of weather. And it definitely can be done- the key is layering. To combat yesterday's chilly weather, I layered a faux fur coat and cozy, cropped teal sweater with this bright blue, floral dress.

I styled a pair of black fleece-lined tights and black combat boots with the look. It drives me crazy that it has gotten so cold that I can no longer wear thigh high socks alone- it's just fleece-lined tights and leggings day after day. Although it's only February, I'm beyond ready for the spring weather and to be able to slip on just a pair of socks or go outside wearing a dress with no tights or socks and not freeze to death.
