Plaid and Simple

Hello! I styled my outfit today around this vintage jacket. While it may appear to be just a basic neutral-colored jacket from the outside, the inner plaid lining adds a spark of style. I decided to highlight the plaid lining by accentuating the burgundy in the plaid with a pair of burgundy Doc Martens and a simple burgundy sweater. To let the burgundy and plaid stand out, I slipped into a plain black circle skirt and black tights. I accessorized with a pair of classic tortoiseshell sunglasses, a pair of cream-colored socks and a cozy, cream-colored scarf.

Black circle skirt: H&M
Black tights: Urban Outfitters
Cream-colored socks: Forever 21
Combat boots: Doc Martens
Burgundy sweater: Vintage
Jacket: Vintage
Cream-colored scarf: c/o Lulu's
Classic sunglasses: c/o Giant Vintage

  2. You just gave me a good idea - styling around a jacket. I haven't done that before. And I like your outfit very much. I've a penchant for casual clothes.
