Hair Trend: Braids

Side braids, french braids, plain braids, pigtail braids, and tiny braids strategically placed- I think I'm falling in love! The great thing about this hair trend is that everyone can wear it. Even I can wear the trend and I have super-short hair. Correctly placed, braids can act as an accessory. A loose, wispy braid can add to a whimsical or ballet- inspired outfit. Tiny braids, about six, spread throughout your hair adds a fun, summery look. Think Delia's 2010 summer clothes. French braids add instant sophistication and pigtail braids add a sense of fun. Recently on an episode of Pretty Little Liars, Spencer wore a french braid, braided across the top of her head, and it completed her preppy stylish look. I absolutely loved it! It was so inspiring.
