Fashion Don't: UGGs

I honestly don't understand why anyone likes/wears UGGs. They make even the most put together outfits look sloppy. In addition to the ugly exterior, they have been proven to be bad for your feet. They don't provide support to your foot and contain a lot of bacteria- that's just gross. If you like UGGs, why do you like UGGs? Comment below.

  1. My friends just got pairs for X-mas and also don't wear them right. They wear them with sweats and Ambercombie shirts. Just the plainest most simple way to make yourself look like a fool I'll say.

  3. Uhm, cause they are COMFORTABLE and they actually do look cute. Just because you don't think they do doesn't mean other people don't. A lot of people could think all the clothes you wear are hideous. Everyone has their own style.

  4. ^^^ I agree with that person. Everyone is different, they don't all have to dress like you, or like the same things you do. You don't say what we can or should like and wear.

  5. They make any outfit look sloppy no matter what style- I try out more than one style and if everyone looked the same that'd be ridiculous-but if you're reading this blog you obviously like fashion and UGGs are not fashionable or in style. Read any fashion blog and they will say the same thing.

  6. Well obviously not everyone thinks they look sloppy if people wear them. I could also hate fashion, by the way, and could have just stumbled upon this page. Uggs are certainly fashionable for ME, maybe not for YOU. I'm not going to stop wearing them just because YOU think they look sloppy and aren't fashionable. And tons of people wear them, so I don't know how you could say they aren't 'in style.'

  7. I wear them because they're so incredibly comfortable, and warm. Plus, they're a hundred or so dollars, and then you have a pair of boots for life--you can return them if they break and get a size up if you need it, or a different style or color.

when it's freakin 35 degrees at 7 in the morning and u have to go to school, maybe you want to be somewhat warm in a pair of cozy uggs! i personally think they're fashionable and you can dress them up or down! so HAH.

  9. I also agree with the last person and myself.Since you haven't talked about slouchy suede boot I would love you to talk about them really in and stylish. P.S. you should show a girl wearing them with skinnies and a cute top.!?

  10. You guys! You guys think that her pin-point was that they aren't fashionable. Actually, her pin-point was that they are proven to be bad for your feet and not supportive enough. And that there is a lot of bacteria in there since your feet sweat because of the fur. So yeah, stop cussing her out "uggluver". -UGGHATER

  11. just because your fashion sense was thrown out the window. and sat on by a baby rhinocerous and pooped on by a griffon, doesn't mean you have to insult other people's fashion choices. I WEAR UGGS EVERDAY. and i happen to know that i look snazzy. so SUCK ON THAT.

  13. i'm sorry but i just have to comment on this. Women have been wearing shearling boots for centuries. In addition to being practical (cold much?) they are also EXTREMELY fashionable. Have you never heard of Tom Ford? Check out his Eskimo-inspired boots. UGGS seem to be just a more available, commercial translation of the same idea. Also, they are a great staple for a simple outfit with jeans. Many models love UGGS becaus of this fact. Gisele Bundchen for instance. Just because something isn't conventionally pretty doesnt mean its not fashionable. Fashions change, and right now, UGGS are popular. I take it you don't like Doc martens either, which are having a major comeback right now. So please, don't discriminate on comfy, if maybe in someway ugly, shoes. I hope this helps!
