3 Ways to Transition Summer Dresses into your Fall Wardrobe

Option 1

Option 1: Patterned dress + camouflage jacket + knee high socks + combat boots + minimalist backpack + statement necklace. I've been wearing my camouflage jacket almost non-stop recently and can personally vouch that wearing a light-weight summer dress and a camouflage jacket together is perfect for fall weather. For an edgy, urban look, accessorize with a pair of knee-high socks, minimalist backpack, combat boots and a statement necklace. This look is ideal for a day spent running errands, attending class, etc. And if you swap out the minimalist backpack for a chic cross-body bag or clutch, then you have a perfect look for going out at night.

Option 2

Option 2: Patterned dress + quirky sweater + leather riding boots + leather school bag + neutral knee high socks + classic watch. If you love anything quirky, vintage or retro-inspired then this look is for you! Cozy your patterned summer dress up with a quirky sweater and knee-high riding boots. For an extra dose of cuteness, slip on a pair of neutral colored knee-high or thigh-high socks so that just a little bit of the socks peek out from under the boots. Perfect the look with a simple watch and leather school bag. This look is perfect for days spent at the library, days spent curled up with a good read or days spent out lounging on campus with friends.

Option 3

Option 3: Patterned dress + slouchy cardigan + simple hat + leopard print bag + platform heels + statement ear cuff. If you are looking to dress up your cardigan for a night out on the town (perhaps spent at a chic art gallery or happening fashion show?), then this is the look for you. First, grab a slouchy cardigan in a stylish fall shade like maroon or forest green. Then slip on a pair of platform heels and a simple hat. Finish the look up with a killer ear cuff and a leopard print bag.
