Hello! These photos were taken yesterday. I slipped into one of my favorite dresses- a dark plaid shirtdress. The classic shape and wintery colors of this dress make it irresistible. It was pretty chilly so I layered a plain long-sleeve shirt under the dress and wore a pair of opaque black tights. I made the look even cozier by throwing on a neutral knit scarf and bold green coat.
This is currently the only winter coat that I have in Philadelphia and I have been desperately trying to style my recent looks to look good with this coat. The rest of my winter coats are in Richmond. When I was home from Thanksgiving last week, I definitely should have grabbed more than just this one winter coat.
Firstly, I definitely need more than one winter coat here in Philadelphia and secondly, the bold color of this coat makes it difficult to match to all of my looks. I have no idea why I thought it was a good idea to bring back a bold green coat instead of a simple black one. I have so many more versatile coats sitting in my closet in Richmond. Oh well! I'll be back in Richmond soon enough. Until then, I'll be busy trying to style this coat with all of my outfits.
