I Love Cameos

Hi! Yesterday I wore my antique cameo necklace. It was a sweet 16 gift and yesterday was the first day I wore it. I styled it with a cute floral skirt, pearl earrings and gray top. To make my look more appropriate for fall, I added my favorite herringbone tights and super chic gray oxford flats. Happy Friday! I hope you all have a great weekend!

Loving Leopard

Hi! This is actually what I wore Tuesday but my laptop has been having issues and this is the first time that I've been able to get my photos on the computer. I recently acquired this sheer leopard print skirt from my favorite thift store for $8. I used part of my chic reward (from chictopia) of a $50 visa gift card to buy it. So far I love it! It seems like the outfit possibilities are endless with this skirt. On Tuesday, I choose to wear it short by tying it up in a knot. Layers were created when doing this and it gives the skirt a totally cool, modern look. I paired it with a pretty black top, some simple black heels and my favorite gold rings. Tying it up is just one of my many ideas for how to wear this skirt. Stick with me to see how many other ways I wear it; I can already think of at least three more! :)

Simple Saturday

Hi! Today I went shopping with my mom and sister for several hours. First we went to the bank, so I could deposit money into my savings account (I'm saving for a car but I don't have even close to enough money!) Then we went to our favorite thrift shop, Thrift for Life. I found the coolest, sheer cheetah print skirt for $8. Afterwards, we went to the mall, Walmart, 5 Below, Petco, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and the fabric store. At the fabric store and Walmart I purchased stuff to make a dress (!) I'm so excited for the dress, it's going to be relatively simple because I'm a novice dress maker but I have a feeling that it's going to be gorgeous. The silky fabric is a pretty blush color. Blush is so chic this fall and I can't wait until the dress is finished. La Vagabond Dame put together lovely inspiration photos featuring fall colors, like blush. Check it out here. Anyways I hope you all have a lovely weekend!:)

***P.S. Don't forget to spread the word about my blog! I only need 17 more followers before I reach 100. A fabulous 100 follower giveaway will follow. Also, this weekend I lost a follower:( I hate it when I lose a follower because I write this blog for you. I love my followers. Any suggestions of what you want to see on my blog are welcomed with open arms. Shoot me an email at tori@fashiontrendsmore.com or leave a comment with suggestions.

Rainy Day

Hi! I promised to take more pictures and blog more often in the fall so even though it rained today, I got my mom to take pictures for me. It was picture day at school today so of course it rained. It seems to always rain when you least want it to. School pictures never turn out well for me anyways so it wasn't that bad. I love the outfit I wore today- a denim button down, adorable polka dot tights, studded booties, a gray dress and some jewelry. This denim button down is one of my most loved tops in my wardrobe right now. :) I love wearing it with black and super cute accessories. To see other ways I styled this top, click here and/ or here. I'm also crazy in love with these super cute polka dot tights. Polka dots are really trendy this season. They are all over the place- on tights, dresses, skirts, bags, scarves, etc. I didn't expect polka dots to be so trendy but I love that they are. They are so chic and can add charm to any outfit. Anyways, I hope you have a great weekend!

Peacock Flair

Hi! Today I wore one of my DIYs, a peacock necklace. I love the beautiful colors on the feather. To really make the feather necklace stand out, I wore a pretty simple outfit- flare jeans, brown boots and a green flowy top. Did you catch the pun in the title of this post? Peacock Flair. I'm wearing flare jeans but my peacock necklace adds flair to the outfit. Pretty cool, huh? I love puns. Anyways, I'm so glad it's almost Friday! Before we know it, it will be the weekend:)

Blue, Black and Cheetah Print

Hi! Today I wore one of my favorite belts- my cheetah print belt. You have probably caught on by now that I couldn't live without cheetah print in my wardrobe. I paired it with a simple blue dress, a black pullover sweater, lace tights and some gold jewelry.

This week has been a successful week for me on Chictopia- my photo was featured in the style gallery (!) and I redeemed a reward for a $50 VISA gift card. How sweet is that?! And it's all thanks to my lovely followers:) If you want to check out my chic blog, click here.

Also, I'm always looking for new fashion/ DIY blogs to follow. If you follow my blog, post the link of your blog below and I'll follow back- if I'm not already following it!

Red Lips

Hi! Today, I chose a simple, casual look that is perfect for fall. I love this button down top- it's vintage Diane Von Furstenburg. I found it at a huge yard sale for only 50 cents! Quite a steal, right? I love that it can add flair to any outfit. It's ideal for when you just want a chic, simple outfit- you can just throw it over jeans and voila! Or if you want to dress it up, throw on a pretty skirt and some jewelry.

No Dress Code

Hi! Yesterday, I went to Williamsburg for a William and Mary football game. I was glad to not have to follow a dress code because I got to wear these shorts! These wool shorts are perfect for fall and I've been waiting for the opportunity to wear them. I paired them with herringbone tights and my new favorite shoes- my gray oxford flats. I threw on my versatile blue button down, some pearls and a pretty bow clutch and was ready to go. Does anyone else have wool or fall shorts that they are in love with?
